Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about working with LaborNOW.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can we get workers on-site?

It depends on location, headcount, and the specific qualifications required. In markets where we have an established local labor pool, crews can often mobilize within a day or two of confirming scope. Projects that need travel crews — because of specialized data-center experience, a compressed timeline, or a market without enough local labor — typically need a short lead time to arrange logistics like lodging and transportation, though we've handled emergency restoration calls with 24-hour mobilization. The fastest way to get an accurate answer is to contact us with your project's location, headcount, and timeline; we'll tell you directly whether it's a same-day, next-day, or multi-day mobilization rather than giving a generic estimate.

Do you provide crews outside major metro areas?

Yes — this is actually where LaborNOW's model matters most. Our nationwide deployment approach uses local sourcing where a market can support it and travel crews everywhere else, including smaller markets, emerging data center regions with no established local labor pool, and rural project sites. We've staffed projects in markets ranging from major hubs like Dallas-Fort Worth and Northern Virginia to smaller regional sites where no dedicated data-center labor force existed before the project arrived. If your project is somewhere without a deep local labor market, that's a normal starting point for us, not an edge case.

What types of workers do you provide?

Our workforce spans general and skilled labor for construction, warehousing, and manufacturing; data center and high-tech cleaning crews trained for controlled-environment work; restoration and moisture-mapping support for water and fire damage recovery; and project-management and consulting personnel — including field supervisors, assistant project managers, and administrative coordinators — for projects that need dedicated on-site leadership rather than just headcount. OSHA-10 trained, background-screened, and drug-screened personnel are available wherever a project requires it, and every crew member receives site-specific orientation before their first shift on a given facility.

Do I need to handle payroll or insurance?

No. LaborNOW handles the personnel logistics for every crew we deploy, including payroll processing, scheduling, and the administrative coordination that comes with managing a workforce across multiple shifts or locations. For larger or restoration-specific engagements, we also provide dedicated administrative coordinators and billing clerks so your team isn't managing that overhead directly. Specific insurance and liability arrangements are confirmed as part of your project agreement — contact us with your project type and we'll walk through exactly what's included.

Is there a minimum number of workers or hours required?

No fixed minimum — LaborNOW supports everything from a single-day, small-crew job to large-scale, multi-week deployments with over a hundred workers across multiple shifts. We've staffed projects as focused as a 30-person healthcare facility restoration and as large as a 118-person food-manufacturing crew running for three and a half months. Tell us your scope, whether it's a one-time need or an ongoing relationship, and we'll confirm the right fit rather than trying to fit your project into a predefined package.

How do you screen your workers?

Every worker is I-9 verified and run through E-Verify before placement, in addition to background-screened and drug-screened personnel available for any project that requires it — and we handle that screening before a worker is placed on your site, not after. Beyond screening, every crew member receives site-specific safety orientation before their first shift at a given facility — covering the site's specific access rules, safety requirements, and scope boundaries — rather than relying on generic onboarding that's assumed to transfer between different types of sites. For controlled environments like data centers or healthcare facilities, that orientation is tailored to the facility's specific compliance requirements.

How do I get started?

Contact us with your project type, location, headcount, and timeline, and we'll follow up with next steps — typically within one business day. For most new client relationships, that also means signing a Master Service Agreement (MSA) to formalize the working relationship, after which placing an order is as simple as telling us the date, time, number of workers, and job-site location for each job.
