Nationwide Service Areas
LaborNOW mobilizes crews across the United States — local personnel where the market supports it, travel crews everywhere else, including markets with no existing local labor pool.
LaborNOW deploys labor anywhere in the United States — not just a list of major metros. Depending on the project, we source personnel locally in the project's market, bring in experienced travel crews, or blend the two. Right now, that means mobilizing roughly 275 people a day across the country, in markets ranging from established data center hubs to sites where there's no local labor pool to draw on at all.
Today's largest data center markets
LaborNOW has the deepest bench of local and travel personnel in the country's most active current construction and operations markets, including:
- Northern Virginia ("Data Center Alley")
- Dallas–Fort Worth and West Texas
- Phoenix, Arizona
- Atlanta, Georgia
- Chicago, Illinois
- Silicon Valley & Northern California
- Columbus, Ohio
- Reno, Nevada
Where new data center capacity is actually going next
Anyone scoping a nationwide labor strategy should be asking where construction is headed, not just where it already is. As of 2026, Texas and Virginia lead the country with well over 100 active data center construction projects each — but power availability, not land, is now the gating factor in most established hubs. That's pushing new development into secondary and tertiary markets that didn't have a data center industry five years ago: Indiana, Wyoming, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and rural West Texas are all seeing significant new build-outs, driven by developers chasing power access rather than proximity to an existing hub.
This is exactly where LaborNOW's model matters most.
A vendor built around fixed regional offices can serve the established hubs just fine. They struggle the moment a project lands somewhere without a local labor market already built up around data center work — which describes most of the emerging markets driving the next few years of growth. Nationwide travel-crew capability isn't a nice-to-have for these projects; it's the only way they get staffed on schedule at all.
What this means for your project
Tell us the location — whether it's Ashburn or a greenfield site that didn't have a data center five years ago — and we'll tell you directly whether it's a local, travel, or blended staffing situation, and what that means for timeline and cost. See our nationwide labor deployment page for how that decision gets made.

Frequently asked questions
Does LaborNOW only work in major data center hubs?
No. LaborNOW mobilizes crews anywhere in the United States, including markets with no established local labor pool. Major hubs like Northern Virginia, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Phoenix are where we have the deepest bench of experienced local and travel personnel, not the limit of where we operate. Emerging markets — places where a hyperscale or AI data center campus just broke ground and the local workforce hasn't caught up yet — are actually where our travel-crew model matters most, and we staff those projects the same way we'd staff an established hub.
Can LaborNOW staff a project in a market with no local labor pool?
Yes — this is exactly the scenario travel crews are built for. Many of the fastest-growing data center markets right now — parts of Indiana, Ohio, Louisiana, and Wyoming among them — are in areas without an established local data-center-scale workforce, and blended or fully-traveled crews are how those projects get staffed on schedule. We handle the logistics that come with that, including lodging and transportation for traveling personnel, so the client's only real decision is scope and timeline.
How does LaborNOW decide between local and travel crews for a new market?
Based on the project's location, timeline, and required headcount, not a one-size answer. We evaluate whether the local labor market can realistically supply the skill set and volume needed on the project's schedule; if it can, we source locally, and if it can't — or can only partially — we supplement with travel crews to close the gap. We tell you directly which mix applies to your project and why, rather than giving a general "we're nationwide" answer without specifics.
What if my project location isn't listed on this page?
Being listed on this page reflects where we currently have the deepest bench of established local and travel personnel, not the boundary of where LaborNOW operates. If your project is somewhere not shown here, contact us with the location, scope, and timeline and we'll confirm directly how we'd staff it, whether that's local sourcing, a travel crew, or a blend of both.
Have a project outside these markets?
Tell us the location — nationwide deployment means we plan around wherever the job is.
